By law, these hearings are held when the Authority is presented with an application for an “on-premises” liquor license in a municipality of 20-thousand (20,000) or more people where there are already three or more “on-premises” liquor licenses within 500 feet of the premises to which an application is being sought.
Given the restrictions in place due to the Coronavirus, neither the applicant, the applicant’s representative, or anyone who wishes to be heard in support or opposition will be able to attend the hearing. Comments regarding the application should be sent to [email protected] at least 24 hours prior to the hearing date.
