The Brand Owner's license allows independent alcohol brands located in New York State to partner with New York State manufacturers and wholesalers for the production and distribution of their products.
The Brand Owner’s License authorizes a company that owns or develops a beverage brand but does not directly manufacture alcohol, to:
- Contract with licensed New York manufacturers to produce alcoholic beverages.
- Appoint a New York wholesaler as an exclusive agent to solicit sales of an alcoholic beverage.
- Sell products through New York wholesalers.
This is a 3-year license and the fee is $375.
