Temporary Retail Permits
On December 21, 2021, Governor Hochul signed into law legislation expanding the eligibility for temporary retail permits. New eligibility standards for temporary retail permits, the application for the temporary retail (ST) permit and the municipal notice form have been revised. Links to the new forms can also be found below. On October 9, 2024, Governor Hochul signed additional legislation to remove a requirement that New York City locations must have had a license at the premises within the last two years to be eligible for a temporary retail permit.
